Give & Receive Care
The Mind Society is the part of Mind Dojo where care moves in both directions — people who need it can access it, and people who want to give it can show up for someone else.
Care That Moves in Both Directions
The Mind Society is the community arm of the Mind Dojo ecosystem — a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit (themindsociety.org). It exists because care isn’t something only clinicians provide — it’s something a community gives each other.
On one side, people who need treatment but can’t cover the full cost. On the other, people who can sponsor someone’s recovery, fund a scholarship, or back the work in other ways. The Mind Society is the bridge between them. Scholarships and sponsorships are administered by The Mind Society, and all donated funds are held by the nonprofit — not by Mind Dojo.
If You Need Care
Cost should never be the reason someone can’t get help. Mind Society scholarships cover treatment for clients who don’t have full insurance coverage or can’t cover out-of-pocket costs.
Scholarships are available for therapy, IOP, MAT, and select LUX wellness services. Awards are need-based and reviewed by our admissions team in coordination with the clinical staff.
If You Want to Give Care
Every dollar donated to the Mind Society goes directly toward someone’s treatment. You can sponsor a specific client (anonymously), contribute to the general scholarship fund, or set up a recurring gift.
Corporate sponsorships are also available for organizations that want to fund care for employees, members, or community partners.
The Mechanics
- Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and clinical fit — not first-come-first-served.
- Donor funds are held in a dedicated Mind Society account and applied directly to client care.
- Sponsors can choose to remain anonymous or to be in light contact with the people they’re supporting.
- Mind Society activity is reviewed annually and reported back to recurring donors.
