Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about Mind Dojo Therapy, LUX wellness, The Mind Society, insurance, and how to get started.
Yes. Mind Dojo Therapy accepts all major commercial insurance plans for clinical services — Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), individual therapy, psychiatry, Spravato, MAT, and trauma treatment. LUX wellness services are typically self-pay. Our admissions team can verify your benefits before your first visit.
Therapy is our clinical mental health lane — licensed clinicians, insurance-based, covering IOP, individual therapy, psychiatry, trauma care, Spravato, and MAT. LUX is our precision wellness lane — physician-guided hormone replacement, peptides, biomarker analysis, weight management, and healing arts. They're structurally distinct but fully integrated for clients who want both.
Mind Dojo has two locations in Western Pennsylvania: Monroeville (3623 William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146) and Irwin (8958 Hill Dr, Irwin, PA 15642). Both serve clients from across the greater Pittsburgh region, with telehealth options for eligible services.
IOP is a structured clinical program — typically 3 to 5 days per week, 3 hours per session — that delivers comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment while clients continue to live at home and maintain work, school, or family life. Mind Dojo runs separate Adult and Teen IOPs with dedicated clinical teams for each.
Yes. Many people we serve face both, and our programs are designed to treat co-occurring conditions together rather than forcing people to pick a lane. IOP, individual therapy, MAT, and psychiatric care can all be coordinated under one treatment plan.
Spravato® (esketamine) is a fast-acting, FDA-approved nasal spray derived from ketamine, designed to relieve depression when other treatments haven't worked. It's administered at Mind Dojo under REMS-certified medical supervision, with in-office observation after each dose. Eligibility requires a clinical evaluation.
LUX is built for people who want to take an active, precision-guided approach to their health — whether that means hormone optimization, performance support, metabolic health, or nervous-system regulation through the healing arts. The easiest starting point is biomarker analysis, which gives your provider the data to recommend a personalized plan.
No. The Mind Society is open to anyone who wants to give care, receive care, or participate in the community. Some members are former or current clients. Others have never needed therapy themselves. The common thread is the belief that care is something people give each other.

Yes, for eligible services. Individual therapy and some psychiatric follow-ups can often be delivered virtually. IOP, Spravato, MAT, and LUX services that require in-person medical supervision are delivered at our Monroeville or Irwin locations.
